Prague, Czech Republic

This morning, Saturday, I got up a little before 6:00 a.m. and checked out of the hostel. The train I wanted left at 7:23 a.m. and it took me until 7:15 to get to the station, so I ended up with no time to change my funny-money back to D-marks. This trains serves good coffee though, and because I’m still in the Czech Republic as I write this, it is pretty cheap (for train coffee) at 56 CZK, or about $2. So far I’ve bought two. It’s especially nice because it comes with cream, not milk.

I was thinking of going back to Innsbruck for the night, but I’m not firm on it. The train is very far behind schedule because of technical difficulties just outside of Prague, so I may have to wait for a connection to Innsbruck unless the train makes up a lot of time between here and Munich.

The train is named the Albert Einstein, who worked in both Prague and Bern, the train’s final destination. It is actually quite cold here on the train, and I just put my sweatshirt on.
