We left Cape Town this morning around 9 am, en route to Glentana, near George. We’ve just stopped for lunch at a roadside restaurant near Heidelberg. They serve breakfast all day, so our French toast is on its way. After breakfast, we’ll have about two more hours of driving.
We decided to take the road less traveled today. Rather than the coastal route, we took a more inland route through vineyards, ranches, and mountain passes. The scenery made up for the extra time in the car, and unlike everywhere else we’ve been this trip, there was no traffic.
